Songs About Photography, Marty Perez & RIP David Crosby
Jim and Greg talk with longtime music photographer Marty Perez about his new career-spanning book, "Kill A Punk For Rock & Roll." They also share their favorite songs about photography and pay tribute to David Crosby.
David Crosby was a zelig-like figure in the 1960s rock world. A founding member of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, he was involved in many major hit songs. He also worked with Joni Mitchell and The Grateful Dead at pivotal times in their careers. He was also known for being cantankerous and sometimes difficult to work with, though in his later years he is said to have softened. Crosby died January 18 at age 81.

Dear Listeners,
For more than 15 years, Sound Opinions was a production of WBEZ, Chicago's public radio station. Now that the show is independent, we're inviting you to join the band and lend a hand! We need your support more than ever because now we have to do all the behind-the-scenes work that WBEZ handled before (like buying insurance and paying for podcast hosting, ugh). Plus, we have some exciting ideas we'd like to try now that there's no one to tell us no!
Please consider becoming a Sound Opinions member by giving whatever you can via Patreon or with a one-time donation through PayPal. Thanks for listening, and thanks for your support!
