Desire I Want To Turn Into You Caroline Polachek

Caroline Polachek Desire, I Want to Turn Into You

Caroline Polachek began her career in the indie duo Chairlift, but has branched out into the pop world as a songwriter for Beyoncé, Travis Scott and Charli XCX. On her second official solo album, Desire I Want To Turn Into You, she successfully avoids clichés, but might have squeezed too many ideas into her songs.

Ticketmaster/Live Nation

After Taylor Swift's ticket sale failed spectacularly, Ticketmaster / Live Nation has been under increased scrutiny. Executives were grilled on Capitol Hill and our guest this week was there to listen. Ben Sisario of the New York Times is covering every step of the Ticketmaster story and he joins Jim and Greg to discuss the latest developments.

Dear Listeners,

For more than 15 years, Sound Opinions was a production of WBEZ, Chicago's public radio station. Now that the show is independent, we're inviting you to join the band and lend a hand! We need your support more than ever because now we have to do all the behind-the-scenes work that WBEZ handled before (like buying insurance and paying for podcast hosting, ugh). Plus, we have some exciting ideas we'd like to try now that there's no one to tell us no!
